Here is a terraced hill containing a mixed bed of roses and perennials.
The tall rose is Rosa acicularis, a native to Wisconsin. Blooming
next to it are irises, peonies and other perennials.
Here's a view looking back over the far southern rose beds and the
perennials in the above photo. This is on the top of the terraced hill.
